‘Think Well The Next Time You Want To Fake’ – Serwaa Amihere Reacts To 6 Year Jail Term Of Takoradi Woman

Serwaa Amihere has adviced people thinking of staging a scenario or faking something in their lives to apply wisdom least they face the law in full force.

The month of October is not over yet but Ghana has witnessed practical application of the laws of the country against perpetrators, especially people who faked something.

The 21 year old Takoradi woman who faked her own kidnap was slapped with a six year jail term.

Dancehall musician Shatta Wale was remanded for seven days at Ankaful Prison for staging a hoax that he was shot and admitted at the emergency ward of an undisclosed hospital.

It is at the back of this that screen goddess Serwaa Amihere is saying next time anyone wants to do that, they should think well.

Serwaa Amihere took to her Twitter page to share the news of the prosecution of the Takoradi woman and used the opportunity to advise others.

Many opined that 6 years in prison for a woman was too harsh a punishment but Serwaa Amihere echoed that the law was fair and it was served right.

Comments that came under her post bashed Serwaa for being insensitive. Others also found a way to attach Shatta Wale and Medikal to the post saying the advice goes to them as well.

Shatta Wale and Medikal have been granted bail and their fate will be determined in November.

We cannot tell if Shatta Wale will also be given a 6yr jail term if found guilty on the day of his verdict in court.

We only hope he goes away with a fine and another bond of good behaviour.
