A communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Afriyie, has declared that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) does not get the concept of their policy, “the 24 Hours Economy,” which was introduced by President Mahama.
Speaking with Wontumi’s morning show, Dr. Afriyie proclaimed that the NDC’s are not telling Ghanaians what exactly the 24 Hours economy means. He said that there is no strategy to guide Ghanaians into such a project, since it is a policy for Ghanaians.
Furthermore, all the implications for the implementation should be approved by Parliament, as New York introduced the same. In addition, they should alert the citizens to know the demand to consider under the 24 Hours economy project.
“There’s no coordinated strategy towards it,” Dr. Afriyie concluded.
