President Akufo-Addo has said that some cynics and sceptics predicted a doomsday scenario for Parliament when the numbers shaped up after the 2020 General Elections.
President Akufo-Addo said there is durable cooperation and unity among all parties in parliament.
Delivering the State of the Nation Address on Wednesday, 8/03/2023 he said “there is some extent a measure of maturity in our political culture and democracy.”
Akufo-Addo said when Constitutional rule is interrupted Parliament shuts down but the other arms of government function.
