A communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ellen Ama Daaku, has advised Ghanaians to stay calm indicating President Akufo-Addo knows what he is doing and that Ghanaians will wake up one morning to a reshuffled list.
Speaking on the President’s response on the call for reshuffling, Ellen Ama Daaku admonished Ghanaians to continue to have faith in the Nana Addo led administration.
In her submission she said, ”the President has the right to appoint and disappoint. He made emphasis on the fact that he checks on his Ministers and appointees so it tells he knows something that we are all not aware of, and according to him, his appointees are doing outstanding work. If he says we should leave them to work, then it is in the right direction. I think he will spring surprise; we will wake up one morning to a reshuffled list”.
”I agree to the cry for reshuffle in a way. Sometimes their competence is needed for in the other Ministries and positions. For instance, Matthew Opoku Prempeh formally at the Education Ministry is now doing great at the Energy Ministry. We don’t hear of Dumsor anymore”, she added.
She indicated that President Akuffo-Addo’s leadership style is giving time and space to his Ministers to prove themselves.
