His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his optimism of striking a good deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Addressing delegates and dignitaries prior to the casting of ballot at the ongoing 2022 Annual delegates conference at the Accra sports stadium President Akufo- Addo stated that “I’m sure we will make a good deal with the IMF and build a resilient economy; the NPP has the tradition of making the economy resilient because we have made it before and we are going to do it again and this will provide us the platform to win massively in 2024.”
In furtherance he indicated that “an important step towards that victory is the work we are going to do today. Let’s make sure we elect the men and women who can hold us together and be able to provide good leadership for the party which will help us surmount the mantra of breaking the eight”.
