The Manipulation Of Delegate Album Was The Root Cause Of Our Downfall At Assin North- Patrick Asomaning

Parliamentary candidate hopeful for Kade constituency, Patrick Darkwa Asomaning, has said that the delegate album was the root cause of the New Patriotic Party losing to the National Democratic congress at the just ended Assin North by-election.

He revealed this in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement in the morning show, which is airs on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, by stating that it was unfair for favoritism to take place in the making of the delegate album, and advised that more attention should be paid to the grassroot members of the NPP.

”In relation to Assin North, I am pained because some of us saw it coming which we spoke about. The rootcause of all the problems was the album we did for the constituencies. People are furious especially the grassroots because the manner in which the delegate album was done didn’t sit well with them, due to the selfish interest of some MPs the system was manipulated.

It is different if the person contests and loses, but for the person to get involved in activities that promotes the party, and the person is denied the opportunity to contest as a polling station executive when the time is up, that is unfair and inhumane,” he said.
