The choice of animal Alan Kyerematen settled on as his official logo for his new political party shows the ‘laziest’ mentality he has towards the development agenda for Ghana, Andy Owusu, has said.
The special assistant to the Ashanti Regional Chairman stated on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com that “the laziest animal on earth is a butterfly”.
Former Trade Minister, Alan Kyerematen officially submitted his resignation letter indicating that he was no longer interested in being a member of the NPP on Monday [September 25, 2023].
Immediately after that, he addressed a press conference and announced his decision to contest 2024 as an independent candidate.
He is now forming a movement, called “Movement for Change” with a Monarch Butterfly as the symbol.
But Mr. Owusu avers that the sudden change of Alan Kyerematen from the elephant family to a butterfly shows he doesn’t love the NPP.
“Does an elephant give birth to a butterfly?” he rhetorically asked.
