That’s Life, Things Happen – Thomas Partey Addresses His Injury Issues Since Joining Arsenal

Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey has attributed his consistent injuries at Arsenal to one of the unexplainable phenomena of life.

He stated that such situations are uncontrollable, but he is working hard to improve the situation.

The Ghanaian said he has instilled the mentality of not giving up in his quest to control his injury issues.

“I think that’s life. Things happen. Some things you cannot control. I have to keep going, keep fighting. Every time I fall, I have to come back, and that’s the mentality I have,” he said in a video shared by Arsenal reporter Connor Humm.

Thomas Partey’s spell at Arsenal has been overshadowed by a series of injuries that have seen him feature in fewer games than expected. Partey played 24 Premier League games in both his first and second seasons before playing 33 in his third. Last season, he played only 14 league games.

Arsenal are reportedly open to letting go of the former Atletico Madrid man for a fee between £20 to £25 million.

He has been on the radar of Saudi Arabian clubs since last summer, but the Ghanaian declined any potential transfer to focus on Arsenal as he enters his final season with the club.
