Teachers Urged To Accept Postings To Krachi Nchumuru Districts

The Manager of Kete-Krachi Cluster of World Vision, Irvin Aboagye has made a heartfelt appeal to teachers to accept posting to the Krachi Nchumuru of the Oti Region.

He made the appeal during a donation of over 500 dual desks to the Assembly for onward distribution to schools which aimed at improving the learning environment for students in the area.

In a short ceremony to hand over the desks, the World Vision Cluster manager emphasized the critical role teachers play in shaping the future of children, particularly in underserved communities like Krachi Nchumuru district.

He noted that, while many teachers hesitate to accept posting in remote areas due to various challenges, their presence is vital for fostering growth and development.

According to him, the donation of the desks by World Vision aims to address the pressing issues of inadequate learning facilities in the area.

Many schools in the Krachi Nchumuru have been struggling with overcrowded classrooms and a lack of essential resources, hindering the educational experience for students.

Mr Aboagye therefore urged to review their roles as not just educators but as agents of change who can
inspire and uplift the next generation.

The cluster manager also urged both students and educators to take responsibility for the furniture, highlighting that proper care can extend the lifespan of these essential resources.

He noted that, well-maintained desks not only enhance the learning environment but also reflect a sense of pride in the schools community.
