World Environment Day: Zoomlion Cleans, Creates Awareness On Clean Environment

Zoomlion Ghana Limited has organised a massive clean up exercise at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra to create public awareness on environmental sanitation in commemoration of World Environment Day. The activities included weeding on the shoulders of the principal streets, manual and mechanical sweeping of the roads, waste collection as well as desilting of choked gutters among others. The donation forms part of Zoomlion’s activities to commemorate Global Handwashing Day (GHD), which is celebrated annually on October 15th. Operation Clean Your Frontage Kick-starts Daily Clean-up Exercise From October – December 31

As part of the Operation Clean Your Frontage campaign, the Greater Accra Regional Ministry, in collaboration with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) and Zoomlion Ghana Limited, has begun a three-month clean-up operation to sanitise and keep the streets of Accra metropolis clean.
