In the latest Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) for 2023, Ghana’s primary ports, Tema and Takoradi, have shown troubling standings. Tema Port is ranked 376th out of 405 ports worldwide, while Takoradi Port stands at 274th. These rankings represent a significant decline from their positions in the 2022 report, where Tema was ranked 205th and Takoradi 245th out of 348 ports.
