The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resource, Cecilia Abena Dapaah has tendered her resignation letter to the President. This comes after it had emerged that two house helps of hers, had stolen funds of $1M, 300K EUROs, millions of cedis among others from her bedroom. This had sparked public uproar in the last 24 hours, with Ghanaians asking where she got such huge sums of money from. €85m Water Expansion For Agordome-Keta To Be Completed In April – Sanitation Minister

The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah has announced that the Agordome-Keta water expansion will be ready for use in April 2023. The Minister said this when she toured the facility, in the South Tongu District, with the technical team and media to inspect the progress of work. The €85 million project, whose sod was cut by President Akufo-Addo in August 2020, and which will serve approximately 440 million residents in the southern part of the Volta Region, was scheduled to be completed in December 2023.
