A luxury car caught fire at the University of Ghana on Monday, March 6, 2023. The incident happened at the forecourt of the Jean Nelson Ackah Hall where a few residents were going about their activities at what some say was a car show. Fire Kills Mother, 2 Daughters At Abuakwa

A mother has died with her two daughters in a fire that swept through their apartment at Abuakwa in Kumasi, Wednesday dawn. The three are identified as Abigail Manu 28, Norah Yeboah, 9 and Philipa Yeboah, 6. Parts of the Kantamanto market in Accra have been destroyed by fire. The incident on Tuesday morning destroyed many goods and shops worth thousands of cedis. Tamale Market: Fire Destroys 5 Shops

Fire on Wednesday destroyed some shops at the Tamale Central Market. An intervention by fire fighters from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) helped to bring the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to many other shops at the market.
