Bofoakwa Tano have made a return to the Ghana Premier League after a 16-year stint in the National Division One League. The Sunyani-based side’s return to the Ghanaian top flight was confirmed after they won the Division One League – Zone  One – playoff final against Eleven Wonders at Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. Bofoakwa Tano won a penalty shootout 7-6 after the game ended 1-1 following 120 minutes of football.
