The Electoral Commission (EC) has refuted claims that it agreed to release a revised version of the 2024 voter register within a week following the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on Tuesday, October 1. In a statement dated October 8, and signed by the EC’s Deputy Chairperson for Operations, Samuel Tettey, the Commission dismissed assertions by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that it had promised to provide the updated register after meeting with all political parties contesting the December 7 elections.
