The 5.8-kilometre Borteyman-Motorway Road project is about 70% complete, with asphalt overlay expected to start in earnest this month. The project which is aimed at improving road connectivity and access to the Borteyman Sports Complex, where the 13th All Africa Games will be held next year commenced officially in August 2022 and is expected to be completed at the end of this year. The project which is being executed by Oswal Investments Limited when completed is expected to reduce travel time and improve road safety around the Ashale Botwe, School Junction, Nmai Dzorn, and Borteyman to the motorway.
