The Ministry of Interior has reviewed the curfew hours in the Bawku municipality to between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am. The revision takes effect from Thursday, January 25, 2024. Between 2021 and last year, 27 pregnant women in need of critical medical attention died in the Bawku municipality, a senior health officer at the Upper East Regional Directorate of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Majeed Sulemana, has disclosed.
