50 Cent has filed a defamation suit against his ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, more than one month after she publicly accused him of rape and physical abuse in an Instagram post. The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, filed the suit in Texas on Monday, May 6, claiming his ex’s “false accusations” have subjected the star to “extensive public ridicule, hatred and contempt,” and that her post was a “purposeful attempt” to sully his reputation and keep him from seeing their 11-year-old son, Sire. Rapper 50 Cent threw a broken microphone during a concert at the Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday, hitting a woman in the head, TMZ reported. The woman is Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain, who told The Neighborhood Talk that she had to go to the ER and receive stitches for her forehead injury. 50 Cent was on stage with special guest YG Wednesday night as part of his “Final Lap” tour 2023. Curtis James Jackson III, American rapper and producer popularly known as 50 Cent, has announced plans to release a movie series based on notorious Nigerian internet fraudster, Ramon Abass. Best known as Hushpuppi, Abass was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates in June 2020, for defrauding over 1.9 million people, majority of whom were Americans.
