Constituency Youth Organizer of Subin Constituency, Razak Abubakar, has stated that the decision to vote against the previous Member of Parliament, Hon. Eugene Boakye Antwi, was solely made by the delegates, without any external influence.
Speaking on Wontumi’s morning show with Oheneba Nana Asiedu, Razak emphasized that the delegates’ decision was based on their own convictions, rather than external factors. He noted that the fear of division often prevents people from speaking the truth, which can lead to dangerous consequences.
This comes after speculations that Hon. Eugene Antwi lost the primaries because he was one of the MPs who champion the “KEN MUST GO” agenda, calling for the sacking of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta.
Razak revealed that only three out of the seventeen constituency executives supported Hon. Eugene Boakye Antwi. He also disclosed that both Lawyer Obri Yeboah and Hon. Eugene Boakye Antwi had provided equal payment to the delegates for their votes, and thus, there was no external factor, against his candidature.
