Strive To Stay Patriotic —- Asokwa MCE Tells NSS Persons.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Asokwa, Chief Akwannuasah Gyimah has charged national service persons to strive to stay patriotic even after finishing their one year mandatory duty to the State.
Addressing personnel posted to the Asokwa Municipal Assembly at an orientation forum at the Presbyterian Church premises, Mr Akwannuasah urged them to offer the best of services at where they are assigned.
Diligent and committed service to the State, he noted was fundamental to showing one loves the country of his birth.
Stronger and advanced nations, he revealed were built by the dutiful persons who rendered dedicated service to its population.
“Nations are built by its youth with the older population giving guidance and as you step out to carry out your national service know that you are helping to build a country desire to see”, the MCE intimated.
NSS DIRECTOR:
Mr Enoch Boateng, Asokwa Municipal National Service Scheme Director encouraged personnel to serve with humility and commitment.
He noted that others who graduated from school and are currently in public offices rendered same service during their time.
This, he observed should spur them on to do their best knowing that by giving off their best they would enhance their chances of being retained in the places they served.
Mr Boateng promised that his outfit would offer guidance and support to personnel while they serve and urged them to make use of their time at the places posted to.
NCCE:
Nathaniel Tweneboah Koduah, Asokwa Municipal Director for National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) stressed the need for personnel to display patriotism while doing their service.
He stated that people who show love for country mostly excel in life.
Mr Koduah therefore urged personnel to display good character and attitude, traits he noted would stand them in good stead.
“Serve well while you have the opportunity because people who got permanent jobs and do well in life did so during their national service “, Mr Koduah said.
