Mr. Yaw Adomako Baafi is calling for an immediate ceasefire in the formation of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia camps on social media to trade barbs.
The former Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stated on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio that the trend of forming camps on social media pages was dangerous and creating unnecessary factions in the party.
“Unfortunately for us, we are hitting a stage where we are getting Akufo-Addo camp and Bawumia camp… It is normal at certain points to have such faction because even with your wife and children, there could be factions- but it is how to manage it. On social media, they are there trading barbs”.
Bawumia, in his view can’t win an election without talking about the achievements of President Akufo-Addo. He continued that the digitalization agenda which was championed by Bawumia were all done under a President Akufo-Addo government so should inform people to be measured about the formation of camps.
“We should rather talk about our positives”, he advised.
