Stay Off Amidu — Francis Adomako Charges

The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged constituency as well as branch organisers of the party to stay off the matter of Martin Amidu, Ghana’s first special prosecutor who has just resigned from the office he held.

According to the Regional executive of the NPP, Mr Amidu has done his part and must move on.

He noted that what is left for the NPP is to concentrate on the task ahead of it before December 7 general elections.

The task, he noted is to remain focused and propagate the good works of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government in its first term of office.

RECORD:
Mr Adomako said the NPP has so much to tell the Ghanaian people and the promises it has delivered on from  2017 till date.

He noted that the efficient and smooth manner the party implemented the free Senior High School policy to enable the needy and poor to access secondary school was commendable.

The regional organiser said the availability of food across the country since 2017 owing to the implementation of the planting for food and jobs policy was another  monumental success the party needed to talk about.

He also pointed to the paperless processes the government has implemented to ensure less time was spent at the passport office and the ports of Ghana as another project worthy of trumpeting.

CAUTION:
Mr Adomako cautioned that nobody in the NPP should insult the special prosecutor for his decision to resign.

He noted that each one had choices to make in life and to determine what is best for them.

The regional organiser therefore said no one should spend time to question the decision of others when they have their own tasks to undertake.

Mr Adomako urged all party organisers to carry on with their door to door campaign and added that they take time to educate the public on how to properly cast their votes for NPP candidates and its presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on December 7.
