South Africa To Report Referee Ndiaye And Officials To FIFA

SAFA CEO Tebogo Motlanthe has revealed that his organisation are bent on lodging a complaint at both FIFA and CAF over what they see as bad officiating in their 1-0 defeat to Ghana on Sunday.

The Black Stars won the highly intense game by a goal to nothing through an Andre Ayew 33rd minute penalty and the South African Football Association (SAFA) boss maintains that referee Ndiaye Manguette and his other officials were dubious on the day.

“The association has decided to lodge a common complain so that the conduct of the match officials are closely investigated by both FIFA and CAF.” An official voice recording by Motlanthe on the SAFA Twitter page revealed.

“We will be having a press conference soon and be telling the nation what will happen going forward.”

Ghana qualified to the next stage of the competition from Group G with a superior goal difference despite finishing on the same points with Bafana Bafana.
