Former Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo, has incurred the wrath of Razak Abubakar following her decision to join a public protest against government’s Domestic Debt Exchange Programme.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) communicator in an interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, hinted that he doubts the former Chief Justice would have joined the demonstrators if she was still holding her position.
“Is she telling us that if she was still the Chief Justice she would join the demonstrators? No! this is hypocrisy”, he thundered.
He therefore stated that Madam Sophia Akuffo can’t be taken serious on national issues because she isn’t an “honest and principled” person .
“People like former Chief Justice, Madam Sophia Akufoo I don’t take them serious. Do you know why, because they are not truthful. When she was at the office what did she say? When she was at the office, what did she do?” he said.
Razak Abubakar further noted that he can’t support the stance of the former Chief Justice because “today that she no longer holds that office, she wants to talk and expects me to take her serious. If you are honest and principled, adhere to your principles”.
