Majority Leader, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has bemoaned the display of placards by some parliamentarians “when somebody delivers a speech” in the chamber.
Hon. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said “if you are happy with what the person is saying you say ‘hear hear’ and if you are not happy you say ‘No No’.
Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Wednesday he bemoaned that the narrative has changed to displaying placards by some MPs.
The Suame Constituency Legislator said the action is a disgrace to Parliament and Ghana.
He however indicated that the MPs have advised themselves to put a stop to that as President Akufo-Addo is expected to deliver the State of the Nation Address today.
