Popular radio host Kwaku Dawuro has said Ghanaians would blame the sitting President John Mahama and his Minister for Defense, Omane Boamah should anybody harm the Electoral Commissioner of Ghana, Jean Mensa.
His caution comes on the back of an allegation that soldiers assigned to protect the EC Chairman have all been redrawn following an order from President Mahama to the Defense Minister.
Speaking on Movement in the Morning Political Show, the seasoned radio and TV presenter stated that “I have seen it trending that the soldiers protecting Jean Mensa have been redrawn”.
Recounting what led to Mrs Jean Mensa being assigned military protection, Kwaku Dawuro stated that it was based on series threats she received whilst going about her duties.
“In opposition they (NDC) threatened her and it was based on that that Nana Akufo-Addo gave her protection”, he said.
He insisted that should anybody harm the Chairperson of the EC, the government of Mahama, would be held responsible.
Ghanaians according to him would hold President Mahama, Dr. Omane Boamah and Mohammed Muntaka “responsible” should anything happen to the EC boss.
