Former Arsenal star, Sol Campbell has named the two strikers he would like to see the Gunners sign in the January transfer window.
Arsenal could seek to bolster their attack in the January transfer window in a bid to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
Their current strikers, Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah are struggling with injuries and consistency, respectively.
However, Campbell wants Mikel Arteta’s side to go for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Brentford’s Ivan Toney, adding that the duo are good.
“In the end, they will have to decide by January whether they need a centre forward,” Campbell told Mirror Football.
“20 to 25 goals in the Premier League. You know, in those big, tight games. I think it will help them.”
When asked which striker he feels Arsenal should go for, fits the bill, Campbell had two names in mind.
He said, “Osimhen. But is he going to cost too much money?
“There is Ivan [Toney]. I think they are good [in other areas of the pitch].
“Center forward is one thing they might need to look at and see the possibilities, see what is out there, or wait until next season.”
