Sod Cutting Ceremony For The Upgrading Of Juansa Clinic To Polyclinic
The Presidential Adviser on Health, Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare has reiterated government’s commitment to the people of Asante Akim North Constituency saying the NPP government will continue to make health effective.
He was speaking at a colorful sod cutting ceremony at the Juansa Health centre towards the construction of a modernized infrastructural project for the upgrading of Juansa Health Centre to Polyclinic.
This will serve the people of Asante Akyem North Municipality and its environs.
Dr Nsiah Asare, said ,he is highly elated for been part of the occasion at Juansa , he promised his readiness to support the Polyclinic with its essential resources ,with the help of the Government and his ministry ,since the bedrock of every society is the good health conditions of its human resources.
Dr Nsiah Asare admonished the people of Asante Akyem North municipality to continue with their adherence to safety protocols towards the fight against Covid19.
Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi, Parliamentary Candidate for Asante Akyem North Constituency in his speech, pleaded with Dr Nsiah Asare, to make it a major priority for the general provision of essential resources, logistics and other emergency needs of the Polyclinic, since his name can’t be evicted from the list of noble men whose frantic effort led to the productive transition of the institution.
“Agogo Presbyterian Hospital ,is the second biggest hospital we have within the Region, but it is deprived of most essential working logistics that a reputable hospital should possess. Lack of X-Ray scanning machines ,just to mention but a few. We are in dire need of such tools and equipment ,and I know with you , government will respond sharply with our plea,” he complained.
Nana Tenkoran Wadie Krontihene of Juansa expressed his heartfelt appreciation to President Nana Addo Dankwa, Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi, Member of Parliament, Hon Francis Oti Boateng, Municipal Chief Executive Officer, the Health Directorate and various stakeholders for such a monumental project for the community.
In attendance ,were Dr.Nsiah Asare Presidential Advisor on Health, Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi, Member of Parliament who doubles as Deputy Railway Development Minister, Hon Francis Oti Boateng, Municipal Chief Executive, Nana Sampson Agyei, NPP Constituency Chairman, Nananom of Juansa Traditional Council, Mr Roland, District Health Director, together with a host of other dignitaries.
