Six New Envoys Present Letters Of Credence To President Akufo-Addo
Six new Envoys accredited by their respective countries for duty tours in Ghana have presented themselves letters of credence to the President of the Republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The Envoy include two High Commissioners and four Ambassadors. They are their execellencies, Lim Jung-Taek, Ambassador of Korea to Ghana, Kathleen KATI Csaba, High Commissioner of Canada to Ghana, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, High Commissioner of Namibia to Ghana. The rest are Enrique Ernesto Escorza Zamudio, Ambassador of Mexico to Ghana, Lu Kun, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, and Thomas Schlesinger, the Ambassador of Austria to Ghana.
All six Envoys took turns to present their credentials to the President at brief ceremonies at the Jubilee House. The enyoys in their interactions with President Akufo-Addo, reiterated the commitment of their individual countries to building strong bilateral ties with Ghana to boost trade and economic cooperation between their respective countries and Ghana.
They also raised concerns about the world’s battle with the COVID-19 Pandemic and pledged that, they will in their own small way, to support Ghana’s efforts aimed at stopping the spread of COVID-19 and thr offering dutiful care to the already infected persons.
President Akufo-Addo on his part, welcomed all the six (6) Envoys to Ghana and wished them a successful tour of duty in the country. He added that his administration is readily available to assist them in any way possible to ensure that their stay and work in Ghana is successful.
