Shatta Wale’s Road Manager, Nana Dope And One Other Arrested For Spreading Fake News

Shatta Wale’s road manager who goes by the nickname Nana Dope has been arrested with another popular SM fan for spreading fake news and causing fear and panic in the process.

Citing from a statement on the official Twitter page of the Ghana Police Service, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, also known as Nana Dope and Eric Venator, alias Gangee were nabbed by the security force just some few hours ago allegedly spreading false information with the intention to cause fear and panic.

The statement further added that Shatta Wale and his right-hand man famed as Deportee are currently on the run for fear of also being apprehended.

Shatta Wale’s shooting story was also described as a hoax therefore the need for him to report himself to the Ghana Police service for questioning and also assist in investigations.

A strong warning was also issued to citizens who have the intentions of using Shatta Wale’s formula to generate publicity stunts as the statement emphatically stated no one will be spared from such nonsense.

Two in Police Custody for Spreading False Information in Connection with Alleged Gunshot Attack on Shatta Wale

The Police have today, 19th October, 2021, arrested Kojo Owusu Koranteng, also known as Nana Dope and Eric Venator, alias Gangee, for allegedly spreading false information with the intention to cause fear and panic.

The arrest of the suspects is in response to the alleged circulation of false claims on the alleged gunshot attack on Shatta Wale.

Preliminary investigations by the Police reveal the widely reported gunshot attack on Shatta Wale yesterday Monday, 18th October, 2021 was a hoax.

Shatta Wale and one other person popularly referred to as ‘Deportee’ are currently being pursued for their possible involvement and knowledge of the circulation of false information with the intention to cause fear and panic.

No one will be spared if Police investigations point to their possible criminal culpability in this matter.

We want to caution any individual or group to desist from making false claims and engaging in acts, capable of disturbing the peace of the country because the law will come after you.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale revealed through a post he shared on his Facebook page that he will be personally reporting himself to the police after the prophet who predicted his death was arrested.

But prior to that, he had insulted Ghana Police Service for hunting him down like a criminal.
