Never step on the toes of Shatta Wale because all the good things you did for him goes out the window and he rubs your face in the gutters.
For some days now, CEO of 3music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, has become the newest target for the multiple award-winning Dancehall star.
On radio, TV and social media, Shatta does not spare Sadiq on any platform he gets.
The consistently inconsistent musician has come out to make an allegation that questions the credibility of 3music awards.
Shatta has come out to assert that the 11 awards he won in 2019 on 3Music were not given out of merit, in other words it was fake.
In 2019, Shatta alone swept away 11 awards at the 3Music Awards.
He won; Viral Song Of The Year with ‘Gringo’, Reggae/Dancehall song of the year, Reggae/Dancehall artiste of the year, Digital Act Of The Year, Fan Army Of The Year, Video Of The Year- Gringo, Music Man Of The Year, Song Of The Year- My Level among others.
He took to his Facebook page to thank his fans and brag about how his hard work brought him all those awards.
“#11United ??? – Just got all my 11 eleven awards from @3musicawards. This is how hard work looks like.
“You go through the motions of the process, ups and downs, challenges, fights, misunderstandings, creating friends and enemies. But I am glad the industry is beginning to recognize the hard work myself and my team put into our work.
“This is dedicated to my fans (you are the reason I live) and everyone I have ever worked with on my journey. Grateful for the role you played in my life. Grateful for this, next the #VGMAs let’s maor history on Saturday. Paaa paaaa ?????”
Now, the same hands that typed the above has come out to claim he didn’t deserve the awards he received.
Shatta Wale is claiming Sadiq intentionally handed him the awards because he wanted to hurt the ego of Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.
“Sadik do u remember telling me that the 3music awards u will give me 11 awards because sarkodie and stone dey bore u. We didn’t do well but I am doing well by speaking the truth.”
Many on social media are calling out Sadiq to come out to confirm or defend his brand.
