A communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Annom Boateng has charged party executives to ensure they work diligently to serve the interest of the party and not the big wigs.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Political Show, Mr. Boateng who is better known as Fransoa said, “going into elections 2024 is a serious business and we need resolute people. We need people who will share their candid opinions on issues and will not succumb to any order due to fear or favour”.
He added that, “we don’t need people who are contesting for the elections to serve some big wigs of the party, but to serve the interest of the party and its members- That should be the conscience of all the aspirants. You better step down if you have plans of doing otherwise” .
He noted that the executives will be treading on a very dangerous ground if unduly disqualification of aspirants is not discouraged.
“Already there is apathy in the party whether we like it or not and doing that will create more apathy”, he concluded.
