Send Your Children To School, Teachers Will Protect Them- Early Childhood Education Coordinator
Early Childhood Education Coordinator in the Ashanti Region, Madam Evelyn Kwarteng has urged parents to send their children to school as schools have reopened.
She emphasized that, there are trained teachers who are in the various schools to protect the children.
Speaking with Nana Owusu Achiaw, on the observance of My First Day At School, she bemoaned that, some parents fear that the children at the age of four cannot observe the COVID-19 protocols thus wearing the nose masks.
Madam Evelyn noted that, due to the fear of the coronavirus, the parents have decided to keep the children at home for them to grow a little older.
“The laws indicate that, a child must be enrolled at the age of four which is the right age for school enrollment.” She said
She advised that, “With or without COVID, parents should send their wards to school if not it will bring effect to them and the country at large.”
