Dr. Samson Anomah has been candid with the political stance of Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, labelling the latter as a Minister of God whose heart is rather in the affairs of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The Kumasi Technical University lecturer in an interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Movementtvonline.com, stated that he had expected Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah to have openly condemned Kwabena Bobie Ansah and Mensah Thompson rather than the government of President Akufo-Addo, when the two appeared in his church for prayer after they had spread lies about government.

He continued that he believes it was plan between the NDC and Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah to have hosted the two at Royalhouse Chapel International last Sunday.

In his view, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah is “an NDC pastor”.

The Executive Director of Alliance of Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA), Mensah Thompson and Accra FM presenter, Bobie Ansah, joined the Royal House Chapel International Church to thank God for their release.

Apostle Sam Korankye Ankrah, prayed for the two and assured them that they have nothing to fear, since notable persons have added their voices to the issue.

Mr Thompson was arrested for allegedly publishing false news; he was also charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace.

This was after he had published on Facebook last year a claim alleging that President Akufo-Addo’s relatives used the Presidential jet on a shopping spree in the United Kingdom.

Radio presenter Kwabena Bobie Ansah, on the other hand, was arrested on February 10.

He was also accused of publishing false news on January 1, this year, accusing the presidential spouses of granting themselves “state lands at AU Village, around the Kotoka International Airport for the construction of Rebecca Foundation”.
