The only inspirations to come out from the grand birthday party of Richard Nii-Armah Quaye according to lawyer Maurice Ampaw are:
- Sakawa activities
- Armed robbery
- Youth engagement in betting
- Ritualists
After last Saturday’s much talked about event, Maurice Ampaw believes it has come to divide Ghanaians.
“Your party has come to divide Ghanaians. You have put pressure on the youth; not only the youth you have brought unnecessary pressure on businessmen and husbands”, he said.
The seasoned lawyer believes there is no moral lesson to learn from the opulent display of wealth which was at play during the 40th birthday celebration of the business magnate.
In an attempt to emulate Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, lawyer Ampaw stated that some youth would engage in some illegal activities to level up.
“The youth will engage in more betting activities, armed robbery, rituals because they also want to have money like you. As a role model what you have done, you have made people into ‘sakawa’ think about getting more money because you have raised the bar too high”, he explained.
