Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bawumia, is expected to name his running mate soon but he has been advised to consider certain factors.
The Ashanti regional Communications Director for the NPP, Mr. Paul Yandoh sounded out the caution asserting that any desperate candidate wanting to partner Bawumia for the 2024 elections is likely to become the “dangerous” one to work with.
Taking a swipe at the lobbying tactics deployed by some people to get Dr. Bawumia to name their candidate as running mate, Mr. Yandoh stated that “when you sound too desperate you become too dangerous to work with”.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Yandoh warned against pressuring Dr. Bawumia to choose his running mate.
“Nobody forced Kufuor or Akufo-Addo, why do we have to do that to Bawumia?”, he asked.
