Richard Jakpa’s Appointment Wasn’t Well Thought Through- Paul Andoh

The Ashanti Regional Communications Director, Paul Andoh, has strongly questioned President Mahama’s decision to appoint Richard Jakpa as head of Special Operations at the National Security, citing Jakpa’s highly questionable character and dubious past.

Andoh described Jakpa as a “thief” and expressed deep concern over his appointment, given his history of controversy.

Jakpa’s past is marred by serious controversy, including a dubious dismissal from the military, which has raised questions about his integrity and trustworthiness.

Furthermore, he is currently embroiled in an ongoing ambulance-related court case, which has added to concerns about his suitability for public office.

He further urged President Mahama to exercise extreme caution and carefully consider the individuals he appoints to sensitive positions, emphasizing the need for integrity and transparency.

Andoh’s comments were made during an interview on Wontumi’s morning show, where he also expressed skepticism about the NDC government’s performance and its ability to make wise decisions.

He predicted a change in government in 2028, with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) poised to take over.
