A member of the Alliance For Footsoldiers Advocacy (AFFA), Farouk, has called on President Akufo-Addo to urgently reshuffle his appointees.
According to him, some notable appointees of the government are dormant in the discharge of their duty which is going against the fortunes of the party.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show Farouk said, “there is a rising level of despondency in the NPP which has to be tackled immediately- some dormant appointees of the government are retarding economic progress hence the urgent need to retire them from their duties and roles”.
“It’s been almost six years since we came to government and we must note that breaking the eight isn’t about slogans, its about our commitment to the party which will encourage others to do the job so our aim could be achieved”, he added.
Stressing that “even if you’re performing well and you’re not able to liase with the communicators to disseminate such information, you must be reshuffled. Don’t feel comfortable in your position”.
He pleaded with the President to reshuffle his appointees stating some feel they’ve arrived so even if the party goes into opposition, they wouldn’t bear the brunt.
