Refurbished Boardroom For KNUST Faculty Inaugurated By Kessben Boss.

The Chief Executive Officer for Kessben Group of Companies, Mr Stephen Boateng ESQ on Wednesday inaugurated the Board Room of the Faculty of Social Science, at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The modernized building complex of the faculty with various classrooms and office which contain 15000 students making it the biggest in West Africa after its completion became a white elephant because it lacked furnishing.

Lawyer Stephen Boateng upon visiting the faculty as Alumni after his attention was drawn by the authorities of the faculty accepted their request and furnished the board room and office of the faculty registrar.

The board room now contains modern furniture and a 14K Smart television to facilitate the activities of the faculty.

REASON FOR THE GESTURE:
Lawyer Stephen Boateng stated the reason for such gesture, he remarked the significant role KNUST has played in building his capacity as a person and also making a huge impact on his business.

He said, the starting point of his success story began with the Social Science Faculty, hence, his benevolence “is not to pay back for the knowledge imparted to me; but appreciation for the transformation and reshaping my life”.

The CEO of Kessben Group of Companies sincerely pleaded with the authorities to put it to good use, and he is confident that it will be utilized properly because it is fit for purpose.

DEAN OF FACULTY
The Dean of the Faculty Prof SR Eugenia Ampofo praised Lawyer Stephen Boateng for his unflinching support to his alma mater.

She added that the benevolence demonstrated by Mr Stephen Boateng is overwhelming and called on other social science alumni to emulate the gesture.

Mrs Ampofo stated that there are a lot of unfinished businesses in the new block which she entreated for support and completion from Lawyer Stephen Boateng and other alumni worldwide.
