Rebecca Akufo-Addo To Commission 52-Bed Hostel For Children With Cancer Today
The First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo will today commission a 52-bed hostel for children with cancer at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio Morning Show, the spokesperson for the First Lady, Sheila Sakyi Oppong said the Ghana Association of Parents Against Childhood Cancer collaborated with the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Foundation to build the hostel.
Sheila Sakyi Oppong indicated that the hostel will help the parents draw nigh with their children as they undergo cancer treatment.
She revealed that the hostel would be equipped with playing grounds, pantry, kitchen, washing machines etc.
