Real Madrid Wins FIFA Club World Cup Title For Fifth Time

Rabat – Spain’s Real Madrid claims the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup title after defeating Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal club 5-3.

Real Madrid set the tone for the match in the 13th minute, with Brazilian winger Vini Jr. scoring the first goal.

Soon after, Real Madrid’s Striker Federico Valverde secured the second and fifth goals in the 18th and 58th minutes respectively, further consolidating his team’s chances of winning the tournament. Karime Benzema scored the fourth goal in the 52nd minute.

In the 26th minute of the match, Al-Hilale’s striker Moussa Marega claimed a goal for Al-Hilal. Luciano Vietto scored the second and third goals in the 63rd, and 73rd minutes respectively.

The European club was already favored to win the competition. With this year’s win, the team remains a record holder of the most victories with five titles.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal was nominated are the reigning champions in the Asian Football Confederation Champions League.

Al-Hilal is the first club to win four AFC Champion League titles. They have also won the Asia Cup Winners Cup and the Asian Super Cup twice.

Al-Hilal is famous for its formidable players Saleh al-Shehri and Salem al-Dawsari, who performed outstandingly at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
