Maintaining Chairman Wontumi hasn’t come with regret, a University lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University has said.
Dr. Solomon Kwarteng Forkuo has underscored that the decision by delegates in Ashanti Region to maintain the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was a wise decision and one that would strategically help the party to maintain political power.
“Nobody has regretted voting for Chairman Wontumi. He is always growing in wisdom, strategy and tactics”, he boldly declared on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.
He further urged other contestants who contested Chairman Wontumi for the Regional Chairmanship position, to put their ego aside and help their current Regional Chairman.
“For the sake of the NPP, put your ego aside and come to the winning team. He (Chairman Wontumi) is poised to make the party maintain power”, he said.
