Prophet Kofi Oduro Is Leading His Church to Hell, Turned Pulpit Into a Political Stage – Daasebre Dwamena
Popular broadcaster and morning show host of Movement TV and Wontumi Radio, Daasebre Agyei Dwamena, has fired back at Prophet Kofi Oduro for what he describes as a dangerous abuse of the pulpit for political attacks.
This comes after Prophet Kofi Oduro, leader of the Alabaster International Ministries, criticized NPP supporters who stormed the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) to demand the release of Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
In a recent sermon, Prophet Oduro questioned the loyalty of party faithfuls, stating:
“If the police arrest me, then members of Alabaster will come and say they won’t allow them. Do you know what I did? Why are you there with blind loyalty? Let truth stand and orderliness work in the country. Do you want to use your noise to avoid the truth? Is that how you want to build your nation?”
In a passionate response during today’s morning show, Daasebre accused Prophet Oduro of turning his church into a political campaign ground and misusing his spiritual platform to promote the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“Your constant attacks on the NPP and public alignment with the NDC are clear. You are leading your members to Hell fire with this propaganda.”
According to Daasebre, Prophet Oduro has made it a pattern to use his sermons to bash the NPP, even while in power, and continues to openly show sympathy for the NDC.
“He’s not hiding it anymore. He is an NDC pastor pretending to be neutral. He’s now leading people with emotions, not the Word of God.” he added.
