The deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has said that Prof Raymond Atuguba is screaming from the rooftop with coup d’état in order to be considered a running mate to Mr. John Mahama in 2024.
For some time now, some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been clamoring for coup d’état to happen in Ghana and Prof. Atuguba has been a surprise feature on the list considering his background as a legal practitioner.
But Nana Obiri Boahen stated on Wontumi TV’s State of Ghana show that in order to get the running mate position in the NDC, Prof. Atuguba has thrown his respect away to call for a coup in Ghana.
The Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Bagbin has also made certain regrettable comments and Obiri Boahen believes he has also joined the bandwagon because he (Bagbin) is looking to be the next Presidential candidate for the NDC when Mahama has failed in 2024.
