The founder for National Liberation Congress Party, Stephen Atubiga has said that President Akufo-Addo is a President for all Ghanaians regardless of the political party one belongs to.
Speaking on Movement TV morning show, he sated that, Ghana can survive under a political free environment, the kind of space that has been by the President Akufo-Addo.
Atubiga stressed on the need for cooperation and involvement among the various political parties which is the foundation of building a solid economy.
“once you are elected as a president, you are not just a president for your country but a president for all, therefore it very important to design policies that favours majority of the people in the country’’. He stated
He applauded President Akufo-Addo for his bold decisions in re-building the countries economy after the Covid-19 pandemic and the recent Russian- Ukraine war, and urged Ghanaians to support the vision of President Akufo-Addo’s government.
“Hardship can happen to any government and even developed countries like America are facing hardship. Unfortunately, people always regard the leader that persists in taking the country to the next level. President Akufo-Addo must be appreciated”. He said
He added that Ghanaians must desist from judging leaders while in office, rather they must judge a man after he completes his job.
Stephen Atubiga was the former communications member of the New Patriotic party. He contested for 2012 parliamentary primaries in the Bunduri constituency in the Upper East Region in Ghana. He resigned from the party to from his own political party.
