President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commenced a 4-day working Visit to the Ashanti Region to inspect and also commission some key development projects.
The President started his tour this morning 16th October 2022 by visiting St Cyprian’s Anglican Church in Kumasi to fellowship with the congregation.
He was accompanied by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako A.K.A Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, the Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremateng, Road Minister, Hon. Amoako Atta, and Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Samuel Pyne among others.
The President is expected to visit the Asantehene otunfuo Osei Tutu and the Asantehemaa at the Manhyia Palace after church.
He will later in the day inspect the progress of work at the Boankra Inland Port Project and agenda 111 hospital Project at Kokoben in the Oforikrom Municipality.
Nana Addo is also expected to commission the Konongo Municipal Hospital and the 30kv Kumasi -Bolgatanga Transmission project funded by the AfDB as part of his first day tour in the Ashanti Region.
