It is now becoming a trend for some popular pastors and prominent politicians in Ghana to fly their luxurious cars on jets to foreign countries just to change their dirty engine oil, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo has revealed.
Speaking on the State of Ghana show which airs on Wontumi TV, the renowned Economist stated that the act by some men of God and Politicians had come to the notice of government and actions would be taken to ensure the state doesn’t lose from taxing them.
He added that no one would be spared when it comes to collecting tax from those who have picked up the habit of transporting their cars on jets just to change their “engine oils and brake bands”.
He went on to warn that Government has also detected that 60% of chartered accountants, lawyers and architects don’t pay tax and would deal with the issue as soon as possible.
