Political Analyst Wades Into Supreme Court’s Dismissal Of Mahama’s Application For Review Of Interrogatories Ruling
A Political Analyst cum New Patriotic Party(NPP) sympathizer, Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has had his take on the Supreme Court’s dismissal of John Mahama’s application for review of interrogatories ruling.
He said that, the highest court of the land is a serious place for settling issues to know the truth.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV’s Talk Ghana Programme, Nana Oteatuoso indicated that, the court is not a playing place adding that the Justices are serious.
According to him, talking plenty and quoting the law does not guarantee a lawyer to have a strong case.
“The Justices saw that, John Mahama’s application is baseless so they have quashed it to continue the proceedings,” he affirmed.
Nana Oteatuoso stressed that, the Justices of the Supreme Court are scholars in the law and for that they don’t just do a review of application.
He mocked that, ever since the Supreme Court started the election petition hearing, John Mahama and his NDC have been beaten unanimously always.
“When the Court speaks, nobody can change it. So far I see nothing wrong with the decisions by the Court as far as the hearing is concerned,” he stressed.
