Motorbike To Kasoa District Police Command
The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development and Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East, Hon Hawa Koomson has presented a brand new Toyota Hilux Pick Up and Motorbike to the Kasoa District Police Command in the Central Region.
This, she noted, is an endorsement of her commitment to collaborate with the Ghana Police Service to beef up security in her constituency to ensure that her constituents are safe to about their daily activities.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony at the Kasoa Police Head Office, Hon Hawa Koomson emphasized that peace and security are the basic need for every community, therefore, she will continue to mobilize whatever resources she can to enable the Police in the constituency to provide the needed security to the people.
Hon Hawa Koomson highlighted the need for the Central East Region of Police Administration to get a Regional Head Office, therefore, she appealed to the chiefs to release land for that purpose
Receiving the logistics on behalf of the Police Administration, Deputy Central East Police Commander ACP Oduro Amaning commended the MP for her kind gesture.
ACP Oduro Amaning appealed for more logistics to help make their work easier and faster.
He further charged residents within the new region to support the police in the fight against crime.
Mr Amaning assured residents with genuine lands in the region but are afraid to develop them as a result of land guards to go resume work because the Police are poised to clamp down on the miscreants tormenting the lives of landowners in the region.
On behalf of the Awutu Ofaako Chiefs, Nai Tsupi Kojo Klewuah assured the MP that land will be allocated for that purpose
