The District Chief Executive of Bosomtwe Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Asuming accompanied by the NPP Constituency Chairman for the area, Addai-Poku Aikens have broken grounds to construct eleven infrastructural projects in six towns within nine months.
Six Unit Classroom blocks and six Seater Toilet Blocks with Mechanized boreholes and elevated water tanks are the massive projects to be constructed.
The benefited areas are Homabenase, Esereso, Abountem, Old Behenase, Jachie and Brodekwano.
Speaking exclusively to Wontumionline.com, Hon. Lawyer Assuming said the government has education at heart and getting better classroom to learn is important to the government.
He said the government has done incredibly well saying there are more projects in the pipeline.\
Hon. Lawyer Assuming appealed to the residents in the areas who have not acquired their share to have forbearance.
He assured that every vicinity will secure its allotment.
The DCE tasked the contractors to finish within the allocated time.
Chiefs Appreciation
The Chiefs in the six communities commended the DCE and Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum for the frantic effort.
They revealed that this is the first time government is constructing three projects at a go.
They promised to offer their unflinching support to the contractors.
Jubilation By Residents
The residents who couldn’t hide their joy said, “we thank the DCE and Hon. Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum for listening to our plight. It is unpleasant to see eighty students in one classroom.”
